Logging is built to take seconds. Each metric has the shortest input that fits it.

Quick-add

Tap the plus button on Home. Quick-add lists your tracked metrics. Tap one, enter the value, and you are done. Water adds 250 ml per tap, or a named amount like a glass or a pint.

Check-ins: mood, energy and stress

Each is a 1–10 slider. You can check in more than once a day. The day’s value is the average of its check-ins. Edit or delete a single check-in from the Log tab.

Timed metrics: deep work and meditation

Start a timer, or add a session with a duration. Sessions add up to the day’s total.

Food

Search the food database by name or scan a barcode. Pick a serving and VitaSync adds the calories and macros to the day. Save foods you eat often to your library, and build recipes from several foods. The day’s calories are the total of what you logged. Searching sends your search term to the food database. See Privacy.

Workouts

Log a workout from a template or start from scratch. Record each set’s reps and weight, or its time for exercises like a plank. Rate the session’s effort and enjoyment if you like. Personal records are worked out from what you logged.

Habits, supplements and goals

Habits and supplements are yes or no for the day. A habit can have tasks, and it is done once every task is ticked. A goal sets a daily or weekly target on any metric.

Custom metrics

Track anything as a number, a 1–10 scale, a yes or no, or a short text. Create one under Tracked metrics in the menu. Archiving a custom metric hides it and keeps its history.

Editing past days

Any past day can be edited. Use the arrows on Home or Log to go back a day. You cannot log a future day.

Where a day begins and ends

A day is your local calendar day. Sleep belongs to the day you woke up, so last night’s sleep sits on today’s entry.

Blank means not logged

A metric you did not log is blank, never zero. Insights only use days with a value.
